 No backup for mobile devices I was looking for a product that would backup the programs on my mobile device. However Backup4All does not appear to recognize the 'Mobile Device' folder even when my device is connected using ActiveSync.The other various backup functions provided by the program are very good.

Wrong version My USB drive is not U3 so this version of software is no good for me. I want a backup solution that starts automatically whenever I connect my usb drive. I have previously used bounceback which did this but the restore and purge function didn't work properly.

Saving of outlook emails on an external drie I understood the above software would save microsoft outlook inbook and folders emails on an external drive in mirror format that is if I opened the external drive I would see the inbox and its folders just as seen on the computor but that is not the case all I see is a pst folder. Love BackUp - hate the launch pad BackUp works well - and I like it. One improvement would be to rework how folders/files are selected for back up - I found that cumbersome. You should look at selecting which files to include from a checkbox list like a shopping list - that stays open until the selections are all complete (ie - multiple folders under My Documents - I don't want to backup - but I have to select the ones I do want as individual selections - which takes a long time.My bigger beef is with the Launch Pad - how do I unload ...
Free and Easy Easy to setup and pleased with results so far. Not all functions have been used but it has delivered what I needed. It is a quick and easy way to make my own backup of data from the network to my external hard drive
